- Ensure all children receive the primary series of vaccines before the age of 1 year.
- Prevent vaccine-preventable diseases.
- Monitor growth in children and prevent malnutrition.
- Strengthen clinic records, collect baseline data, and use it for planning purposes.

- Care of the MCH Handbook: The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) book records all essential health information for future follow-up, including growth monitoring, vaccination, treatment, school admission, and other purposes. All beneficiaries should bring their MCH book for every visit.
