For Patients
Our patients are our first priority! That’s why we do everything we can to help you get better and stay better – and that includes making your stay with us as stress-free as possible. If you have a question, please ask the floor managers or unit nurse – or, to any of our staff.
For Visitors
Visiting Policies
The hospital’s visiting policy was created to ensure our patients a quiet and safe atmosphere in which to recover. Only one person may spend the night with a patient. Permission must be granted by nursing personnel, and the person must stay in the patient’s room. Exceptions to the visiting policy may be made for critically ill, laboring, and emergency surgery patients.
We encourage visitors for emotional support and recovery. To provide a restful and safe environment, we ask that all visitors comply with the following guidelines:
- Wash your hands often while visiting our facility. It prevents the spread of germs that can cause infection.
- No more than four visitors are allowed at the bedside at one time.
- Visitors may be asked to leave the room during tests or treatments or when the doctor or nurse needs to see the patient.
- If you’ve got a fever, cold, or any infection symptoms, please stay home.
- Please do not smoke. All JDWNRH facilities are smoke-free.
- As far as possible, don’t bring food to the wards or cabins.
- Please respect other patients by keeping noise to a minimum.
- Don’t bring infants and children as they are more prone to infection.
- Obtain the door access card from the security personnel at the main entrance.
